Our name comes from the third song of the Mío Cid, a reference to the Indomitable Queen Doña Urraca I of Castilla y León.

In a male dominated world, Queen Doña Urraca takes the throne after the death of her father Alfonso VI. “El Cid Campeador” was the castle of Doña Urraca, a primary place to prevent her reign from being taken away .
